Tone, Shadow & Shape

NOTE TO INSTRUCTORS AND PARENTS

At this point you should have an understanding of what subject matter you or your student's may enjoy. Please assign them drawing projects accordingly. Some students will want to draw cartoons, stuffed animals, cars and other objects. Please allow them to draw anything they want. (Within reason of course) I hesitate to assign drawings because if a student has no interest in the subject matter they will not put in the time required rendering the subject. However I will help as much as this teaching media allows. If you have a scanner and home page you can post their work and e-mail a message to me and I will return in an e-mail any suggestions that I might have. You could also mail the work to me through the regular mail and I will do an overlay of the work with my suggestions. An overlay is a piece of tracing paper with red line remarks and sketches that I put over the work. I will not draw or write directly on the students' work. Please make sure that you add return postage for the material or I cannot return it to you.
